Upcoming annual maintenance closure
Check out the key dates and details below so you can plan ahead!
Dates of closure: Monday 1 September to Sunday 14 September 2025*
- All indoor pools, including the spa will close at 4.00pm on Sunday 31 August to allow time for the maintenance team to drain the pools ready to start first thing Monday morning.
- The sauna and cardio room will be available to members on Sunday 31 August until closing at 6.45pm.
- The centre will reopen on Monday 15 September with the exception of the Main Pool - this will reopen on Saturday 20 September after further maintenance has been carried out and the pool has been refilled and heated.
What's happening during the closure
- General maintenance on all pools and swim plus zones, including tiling refurbishment
- Pool plant maintenance
- Cleaning of high-use areas
- Annual boiler service.
What about my membership/10-visit pass?
- Swim It members will have your membership upgraded to an All Centre Swim Access only, so you can still swim at another Auckland Council-owned and operated pool*
- Cardio / Gym It members will have your membership upgraded to an All Centre Gym Access only, so you can still work out at another Auckland Council-owned and operated gym*
- Move It members will have your membership upgraded to an All Centre Group Fitness Access only, so you can still attend group fitness classes at other Auckland Council-owned and operated centres*
- Get into It members will not be suspended or upgraded as your membership already has access to other centres
- 10-visit passholders will be suspended from 1 to 14 September.
